I Heart Succulents

My love affair with succulents continues.

Spilling over in planters, tucked into the cracks of an old wall...or new wall...randomly edging a drive, gracing the base of a staircase, hugging a boulder or urn...urns in planting beds, always a plus for me....
All viewed up close and personal to appreciate there shape, texture and color...how succulents should be viewed, all creating the special little magic a garden sometimes needs.

So needless to say I was more than thrilled to come across a ABC das Suculentas. A blog out of Brazil, that shares my love and appreciation for all things succulent. Not only will you find design tips , but also a amazing amount of growing how 2s

  2. I heart succulents too Maryanne! And I heart the heart plantings. Mine are overflowing in all sorts of low containers so now I'll be on the lookout for a heart shaped one. So cool! :)

    1. Veronica, the best way to enjoy them, spilling over pots. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. I adore succulents. I have to say, as pretty as the first photo is, the creeping jenny is not a pleasant ground cover and it is truly one of the most difficult to control and invasive ground covers there is. You cannot kill it !!! I planted some in a large container and it got into one of my border planting beds and took over with all the rain we had last year. Trying to rid myself of it……impossible. Very lovely color and texture but in the south I would not recommend it. I enjoy your blog.
