The Dutch Landscape Architect firm of Stijn Cornilly proves less is more.
Keeping plant material to basic shapes of globed and hedged evergreens, a strong statement is made year round. The hardscape color has been kept to soft shades of beige and grays to become what Stijn considers an extension of the house itself. Flowering shrubs and seasonal color, which would have distracted from the design, have been kept to a minimum, strengthening of the overall design.
